Engagement Questions

• What’s the best party you can imagine?
• Which part of John’s description of heaven is most exciting to you?
• How can you celebrate what God will do?

Prayer

“Dear God, thank You SO MUCH for Heaven. You are making EVERYTHING new! Thank You, Lord, that in Heaven we will SEE YOUR FACE! We will live with You FOREVER! Thank You that the end of Your story is more AMAZING and INCREDIBLE than we can even IMAGINE. We love You SO MUCH, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, point out something good you’ve seen them do or say lately.
 

Drive Time

While on the go, share something God has done for each of you and celebrate it with a special treat.

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What is something you want God to do in your life or in the life of someone you know? How can you celebrate while you are waiting? How can you celebrate even if what you want to happen doesn’t?”
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “God, we thank You for all the things You have done in our lives. [Name some.] And we also thank You for the things You will do—because You are always at work.”
