THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EXPRESSING AN INTEREST IN SERVING AT THE CROSSING
Before we introduce anyone to serve in a ministry, we ask that time be taken to reflect on what it means to serve in a Christ-centered church environment. The following exercise is a discipleship tool that hopefully will allow us to get to know each other better. At The Crossing, we not only believe in each one of us contributing our spiritual gifts and talents to the Body of Christ, but we also believe each one of us should understand the tremendous responsibility that comes with representing Jesus and His church. As we decide together whether or not God is calling you into a volunteer position at The Crossing, please know that we ultimately look to the Holy Spirit for guidance and His word for direction. Serving in a church is about following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Together, as a team, we will follow His leadership and direction.
We also truly believe that if God is calling you into any type of servant role at The Crossing, He will prepare and equip you to accomplish His goals. “...for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” (Phil. 2:13). God has used ordinary people throughout history to accomplish extraordinary things. We trust His plan. We pray you do as well.
Since you are a minor, an email will be sent to your parent or legal guardian asking their permission for you to serve at The Crossing.
