Reflect

What was your biggest takeaway from this weekend's message? Does rest come easy to you? Why or why not? What aspects of your life right now keep you from resting? How does Jesus' promise in Matthew 11:28-30 shape your current circumstances? In what ways is Jesus calling you to be salt and light in the world? How do you see cynicism at play in your conversations? What is the antidote for that cynicism? What intentional steps can you take to practice Sabbath rest this week?

Augustine famously put it this way: "You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they can find their rest in you." Make a list of all the ways you can spend time with Jesus this week. Walk with Him and remember that He will give you rest.
