We take your privacy very seriously, but we also rely on a lot of data to do effective ministry. To that end, we're going to answer some questions you might have about what information we collect and what we do with it. What information do we collect? We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide
to us when registering for an account on our websites or app, filling out a Connect Card, giving to the church, registering for an event, signing up for a newsletter, or any time you enter information into our site.
The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us, the choices you make and the features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:
Contact and Demographic Info. We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, date of birth, grade, gender, marital status, and associated family members. Personal photos can also be uploaded to your account.
Credentials. We collect passwords and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
Payment Data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as credit card number and the security code. We automatically collect certain information
when you visit, use or navigate our websites or app. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our websites or apps and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our websites, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. We also collect your responses when you use the interaction features in our app
to provide a response to a question in-service. That response, along with your campus, is sent to designated moderators, our teacher, and sometimes displayed on screen in the service.
In this process we do obtain your account information, but this data is deleted from our system after 7 days. Your response is not associated with you in your profile or in any other way. How do we use this information?
