Grab your workin’ shoes and join us for Second Saturday, rain or shine! Each month, we team up with our friends at R3 Development for a community workday that’s about more than getting a job done, it’s about building relationships and creating brighter opportunities for the youth of East St. Louis.
R3 empowers youth through leadership development and job skills, primarily in the construction field. During Serve Days, we’ll roll up our sleeves and tackle projects such as landscaping, painting, cleaning, and construction while meeting and serving our neighbors along the way. These efforts help push the efforts of R3 forward!
All skill levels are welcome! And if you have construction skills you’d be willing to put to work, we’d love to know!
Whether you come on your own, bring your family, or gather a few friends, this is a great opportunity to serve, build bridges, and make a difference together.
This opportunity is a great way for families and groups to serve together, but R3 has an age limit of 12+ and requires all students 12-15 years old to be accompanied by an adult.
