In the summer, families who rely on free breakfast and lunch at school turn to food pantries for help. At the same time, food donations decrease as schools are closed, and many people are away on vacation. The Care Service’s annual summer food collection ensures pantry shelves are stocked and ready to provide families with enough food to last throughout the summer.
Join us on Saturday, June 26, to collect and organize the food that is brought to the pantry for the Care Service’s summer food collection. There are two volunteer shifts – pick the one that works best for you.

This is a great opportunity for families to serve together! Students who wish to serve without a parent/guardian must be 16+ and have the Parent Consent Form filled out and returned to outreach@thecrossing.church.
