Parent Roundtable: Helping Anxious Kids & Teens

Nov 4 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Chesterfield

Kids and teens have big emotions. Helping them navigate those is hard. And, at times, it can be scary. No wonder many of us feel powerless and discouraged. Still, there is hope.

Join us for an evening of discovery and encouragement. In community with other parents and caring adults seeking similar answers, we will hear from experts and learn about five, research-based “simple, yet powerful, tools you can use every day to connect with a kid or teenager to help them heal.” (Hutcherson, W. & Williams, C, 2021)

Empowering you to take a next step (when you are ready) is important to us, too. So, you will have opportunities to reflect and identify what actions are right for you and your family.

All are welcome to this FREE event. Feel free to invite anyone you think could benefit, but please have them register as spots are limited. Childcare will be available for birth-5th grade. Please check your registration confirmation email for the link to reserve childcare.

We will be referencing the new book: SEEN: Healing despair and anxiety in kids and teens through the power of connection. It is NOT mandatory to buy or read this book, but The Crossing bookstore does have copies. Order by Oct. 21 to receive 20% off and we’ll have it for you the night of the roundtable.
