Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You don't need to be a regular attender to host a funeral, memorial, or celebration of life at The Crossing. We're honored to serve families in seasons of loss.

No. There are no building fees or pastoral honorariums. If live music is requested, there may be associated fees depending on the arrangement.

Yes. Our pastors are available to serve at funeral homes, gravesites, or other locations if a family prefers.

Prior to the service, the pastor, funeral coordinator, and family meet together to plan the details and shape a service that honors your loved one and serves those who gather.

A typical service may include a slideshow, music, speakers, a pastoral message, and memorabilia. Families are welcome to provide photos, music, and personal items to display. We recommend 2–3 speakers with up to 5 minutes each, and ask that all speakers connect with the pastor in advance.

Auditoriums and select spaces are available at our Chesterfield, Fenton, Grant's Trail, and Mid Rivers campuses. Availability varies based on campus activity.

Yes. A pastor from The Crossing is required for all services held at The Crossing. Outside pastors are welcome to participate at the officiating pastor's discretion.

No. We recommend working with a local funeral home or cremation service for body preparation, casket or urn, burial arrangements, obituary services, and other needs. Flowers may be delivered up to 2 hours before the service and should be collected by the family promptly after.
