This year, nearly 5,000 children will call the Nursery their “home” while their families navigate the storms of life-whether that’s illness, homelessness, domestic violence, or overwhelming stress. On a typical serve day at the Wentzville location, volunteers clean and organize the nursery so the staff can focus on what matters most: caring for the children.

Volunteers must be age 14+ to serve at Crisis Nursery. Students who wish to serve without a parent/guardian must be 16+ and have the Parent Consent Form filled out and returned to outreach@thecrossing.church. 

Because we could be working around children in the nursery, adults are required to have a current background check on file. Your registration confirmation email will have the details to complete one if needed.
