Support refugees of Oasis International by doing a wide variety of tasks. Oasis International is a non-profit organization in South City whose mission is to love and care for those who seek refuge from a war-torn country. You may imagine that they have had an influx of new families in the last couple of months. Let's jump in to serve the staff and community wherever they need us most!
During most of our serve days with Oasis, we'll be driving to homes to deliver donations to refugee families around the St. Louis area. If deliveries aren't needed that day, we'll stay at Oasis to help organize and clean around the building, as well.
Students who wish to serve without a parent/guardian must be 16+ and have the Parent Consent Form filled out and returned to outreach@thecrossing.church. Because we could be entering families' homes, adults are required to have a current background check on file. Your registration confirmation email will have the details to complete one if needed.
