YC At Home

As restrictions continue to ease, YouthCrossing will continue be flexible and make adjustments to how we are staying connected to students. We will take a graded approach as we begin to reintroduce in-person events to our ministry programming, making sure that we are doing everything we can to keep our students safe; including social distancing and following the most updated safety recommendations. With that in mind, we know that many of our students are itching to see one another again, so we will begin offering small, outdoor, socially distanced, in-person gatherings for each of our campuses in the weeks to come.

We will also continue to connect with students online through our weekly online gathering, the YC Summer Show, which premieres on our YouTube channel every Wednesday night at 6:30pm. If your child hasn’t already been watching along during the premiere, encourage them to join us! They’re able to chat with friends and our staff while they watch, it’s a lot of fun!

We know many of you may also be wondering about what YouthCrossing programming will look like in the fall as students go back to school. While we don’t yet have a clear picture of our fall programming, we do want to assure you that we are working hard to plan for every contingency. Our heart and mission is to partner with you, as parents, in connecting your child to Jesus, and we are committed to doing that in every way we can. We are keeping a close eye on how local school districts are proceeding, as well as the best recommendations of legal and medical professionals. As we get a better idea of what our youth ministry will look like this fall, we will make sure to keep you updated and informed.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, or if there is any way our team can serve your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We know this season has been tough for parents, and we absolutely love partnering with you as you point your child to a deeper relationship with Jesus.
