Read: Zechariah 9:9, Luke 19:41, 23:27-33, Mark 11:18, 14:33-34, 15:34, John 19:1-3, 2 Corinthians 5:21
Reflect:
1. What struggles do you have with the crucifixion?
2. Did one of the songs in the story speak to you? The "beautiful anguish" of Jesus "In The Garden?" Or the self-reflection and remorse of Peter in "The Story of Peter?"
3. Sometimes we get confused about the crucifixion. But we were reminded that God chose this death to atone for our sins - and the Romans were responsible for executing Jesus. Do you struggle with this concept?
4. Sometimes we get stuck thinking "my sins aren't that big of a deal." Other times we can be stuck in shame. Have you experienced either of those feelings?
5. In what area of life do you need to turn your eyes and gaze to Jesus the most?
