The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.  Numbers 6:24-26

This was a blessing that Moses said over God's people. When God turns his face toward us, we are not destroyed, we are not condemned, but through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are loved. And we are blessed.

One of our core values at The Crossing is: the Eternal God is worthy of our praise, our trust, our prayer, and our devotion.

DISCUSSION:

     -What were you told about God as a child? Is a God who blesses and doesn't condemn what you were told?

We have good news to share. When someone has questions about faith or specifically about your faith, how good are you at answering?

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15

DISCUSSION:

     -Who shared with you about who God is? How did this draw you to want to know more?

     -How prepared do you feel to share your faith?

Another core value for us is: The Bible is how God speaks to us. 

But often we have questions about the Bible. We love creating spaces where people can ask honest and even hard questions about God, faith, and the Bible. 

DISCUSSION:

     -Did you grow up knowing that you can ask honest and hard questions about the Bible.

     -What questions do you have even now?

We have our Core Experience Classes coming up this fall.

We will talk about the questions people have.

We will talk about how to share your faith and give a response to this hope that you have. 

We will experience community as we ask and seek truth together.
