Bookstore Lead.....is a part-time position that will manage bookstore volunteers performing the duties with the intention of creating a safe and inviting environment for attendees to deepen their relationship with Jesus. This position will also work alongside Chesterfield campus staff and pastoral team to facilitate and shepherd the spiritual growth of our church community through resources available in the bookstore.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a safe and welcoming environment for all guests in the bookstore by having volunteer team that are hospitable, familiar and knowledgeable about bookstore resources
• Recruiting, training, leading and shepherding volunteers. including scheduling, cultivating a volunteer environment where volunteers feel equipped, empowered, connected and celebrated
• Coordinate with campus staff and inventory specialist when a pop-up bookstore is necessary for Explorations
• Coordinate with Spiritual Oversight Team if additional resources are requested by pastoral team, teachers or ministries at The Crossing
• Attend monthly Staff meetings/chapels at the Chesterfield Campus
• Other duties as assigned by leadership

Associate Pastor......This full-time position is responsible for the leadership, vision, and execution of the Kids Ministry at the Chesterfield campus. This person in this position will develop, encourage and support all volunteers and paid staff (if applicable) to ensure the campus is performing at a high capacity. This person will build relationships with kids and families and will resource and equip parents as they follow God’s command to help their child know, follow and trust Jesus. This person is responsible for utilizing volunteers and paid staff (if applicable) to execute the strategies and systems of KidsCrossing to ensure activities/classes for kids and families are safe, engaging, and provide opportunity for spiritual growth. The Kids’ Ministry Pastor must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead both adults and children in ministry. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for Jesus Christ, the vision of The Crossing and helping children and families take steps on their spiritual journey.

Kids Coordinator......is a 28 hour per week part time position responsible for equipping and empowering Coaches and team members with the goal of developing a volunteer-led ministry.  This position calls for a highly relational and adaptable person who will foster a high quality, fun, safe and relational environment in the weekend experiences in KidsCrossing and throughout the week through connection, coaching, scheduling, and care.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for Jesus Christ, the vision of the Crossing, as well as KidsCrossing, and for building authentic faith in children that lasts a lifetime.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing Coaches to care for ministry teams per the Lead Small mode
• Actively working to staff the weekend schedule and overseeing volunteer leaders who assist with scheduling
• Scheduling, training and equipping team members
• Actively working to relationally invite and recruiting new people to join KidsCrossing team
• Empowering your serving teams to recruit new team members
• Meeting with Coaches on a regular basis to encourage, equip and disciple them
• Managing team members by providing feedback and resources for growth
• Encourage team care through the Four C’s, Meal Trains, cards, and other modes of care
• Attend KidsCrossing and campus staff meetings, staff lunches, and Kids team meetings
• Responsible for curriculum/supply set up for Nursery, 1’s/2’s, PreK, and By Design areas

Weekend Execution Responsibilities

• Weekly communication to team members that includes vision, schedule and curriculum
• Adapt monthly curriculum for Nursery-Two’s and By Design so that spiritual learning occurs in those areas
• Ensure that rooms, stages, SG supplies and materials are set appropriately for the coming weekend
• Ensure that rooms are clean, well-organized, and have appropriate equipment to meet age level needs
• Oversee the large group staffing and programming and provide appropriate feedback to the programming team
• Fill in as needed

Parent Connect Responsibilities

• Train and empower Small Group Leaders to be the first point of contact with parents to connect church and home
• Communicate with parents regarding behavior issues, incidents/accidents and follow up during the week when necessary
• Model an environment that communicates encouragement and praises to parents regarding their kids
• Invite parents to Explore, Experience, and Express for their spiritual development
• Work with families of special needs children to find shadows and assistance for their child’s needs while attending KidsCrossing
• Provide care for families needing support, including meal trains, cards, care calls

Music Director......is a full-time position that will oversee the Music Team staff across all campuses to create holy, powerful, and personal expressions of musical worship music during weekend services and events in a way that consistently upholds the values and beliefs of The Crossing.

• Lead, develop, and support all staff members of the Music Team
• Work alongside campus music leads and staff to develop and train music team, including contractors & volunteers
• Contribute to the creative process for music and service planning
• Bring fresh song and music ideas to programming—writing, recording, and producing demos when necessary
• Oversee the execution of all worship-related music and staffing details for weekend services and specified events—working closely with Campus Music Leads
• Collaborate with music staff to create and manage assets for Planning Center including arrangements, charts, audio files, etc.
• Lead worship vocally and/or instrumentally for weekend services on a regular basis
• Other staff duties as required by programming leadership

Youth Pastor......is a full-time position that will oversee the entire youth ministry (6th-12th graders) at our Mid Rivers Campus. This person will have the ability to create a safe environment for students all over the spiritual spectrum to take steps on their journey with Jesus.  This includes (but is not limited to) overseeing the weekly YouthCrossing gathering, events, outreach, volunteers, and volunteer development. This person will have a high gift of leadership and be very relational. Creating community, culture, and trust amongst teams is a top priority. This position will also operate in a pastoral capacity during our weekend services.
