“Detail blindness in familiar objects” is when we miss the details of things right in front of us because we feel we are too familiar with them. Basically we’ve seen, heard, or done it before a lot, we skip right over it because we think we already know it. What is something in your everyday life that you suffer DBIFO with?

When was the last time you worked in sync with another person or group to make a real difference?

Read Matthew 28:18-20. What words stand out to you in these verses?

Read Daniel 7:13-14. In both the Old and New Testament what declaration is made that we must understand?

What Bible stories have you heard that bring Matthew 28:19 to life? What comfort can we all have because of verse 20?

Read Romans 8:15-17. What things are we assured of from these three verses? What feelings does this evoke inside of you? If we are children of the King, how do we go about continuing to learn from our Heavenly Father so we become more like Him?

In a world full of darkness, we need a light. We need to learn to biblical reasoning. There is only one way to do this, and it is by continuing to Explore the truth of God’s word. God is shining his light in this dark world. Where have you seen God on the move? Where have you seen a hunger for God? Watch these clips. Exploring isn’t enough - we also need to Experience. That experience happens when we turn to Him. Read Psalm 89:15. For every generation, what hope do we see through this verse?

God doesn’t want us to experience Him just for ourselves; He wants us to Express to the world around us His love in action. Read John 13:34-35. How do we make our expression more than just a “do good” story and into a “Jesus loves” story?

Jesus, thank You for moving in our world throughout the ages and still showing Your presence to us today. We ask that You keep moving through our land with a sweeping revival that takes every generation by storm, so much so that we feel the impact directly in our own homes. Lord, we ask that You include us in Your plans to make Yourself known here in 2025. That we not only explore and experience Your love, but that we express it. Use us to be Your hands and feet, showing Your love to those outside of our own circles. Grow our trust in You so that we can express Your love and generosity wherever the plan You have for us may lead. We ask this in Your most holy Name - Amen.
