If you have never taken the time to figure out how Jesus wired you to connect with Him, spend some time this week figuring out when you connect with God best.
Once you do, or if you already know, be intentional about scheduling some time to do that very thing that connects you to the Lord.

Jesus, thank You for the beauty that comes with a freshly fallen snow, and that even though our landscape is blanketed in a wintery powder, we have the capabilities to share in Your word with our families at home. We ask You to protect all of those who have to venture out, and all of those who may be stuck out in the frigid temperatures.
We know that You have wired each of us in a special way to connect with You, and we ask You to reveal that to each one of us. Equip us with the tools we need to find You in our rest. Help us to realize the way we truly rest is by being connected to You. You are the only one who can deliver us that Sabbath rest that we all so desperately need. Help us make the time this week to be intentional and realistic about connecting our spiritual pathways with You.
We ask all of this in your most Holy Name. Amen.
